We have a 6 year old boy who has ADHD. All of his life, he has been very active, curious, rambunctious, and always on the go. People have made comments concerning his attention span, and how active he was since he was walking. My thought was, that he is a boy, and boys are active, and what child has a good attention span? I never thought anything was out of the normal. Just that he needed more attention than most children, and definitely more patients. It has taken me a lot of incite to get to the point where I am today. My husband and I have struggled as parents to know what to do, and what would be the best thing for our little boy. We have gone through many ups and downs, received a lot of invited and un-invited opinions, and re searched a lot of conflicting information on weather or not to medicate our son. - I am a stay at home mother of two, very active, very different boys, who I love very much. I have an amazing husband, who is a wonderful partner, friend, advocate, and a great Father to our children. Our oldest son, who is 6, has struggled with ADHD,along with several other mental health disorders. It is our hope, through this blog, we can reach out to others who are in the same situation. And together we can help and support one another.
